Ladies Retreat

Well where do I begin, I was really looking forward to it, I went with a heavy heart about some things the Lord has been working with me about, I wanted to make sure that is was God and not myself not that i had any doubts about it just wanted to make sure, I want to be prepared to obey the Lord i n any way, I also don't want to be in self, I'm sure a lot of you at one time or another have been there to, and after this weekend I know what I need to do I love how the Lord can use people if they are intuned with the Spirit of God.. Sis. Perkins Wow! is she amazing oir what how the Lord used her she is my kindred spirit.

My car as been acting up some so I wasn't sure how I was going to get to pueblo, from pueblo I had a ride, but getting to pueblo I wasn't sure, but I chanced it and God came through I even made it home, I thank God for His blessings on me He is an Amazing God.....

27 years

27 years ago on october 6, 1985 at 2 in the afternoon on greenwood street in pueblo, co. it was a warm day for oct. it was a good thing, We stood before the minister and promised before God and witnesses that we would love honor and obey in sickness and health we would stand by eachother until death us part, and let me tell you I would do it again.. He has been the best guy I could ever want, He loves the Lord with all his heart, and even if we never had a child I would still be with him.
I believe theat God has a soul mate for each person if they will seek God and pray for that special man or woman.. I can remember when I was younger I had this ideal man I wanted to marry tall, dark, and handsome, then when I went to Tomlinson College I seen some of the guys there I changed my mind, I started praying for a man after God's heart who would lead our home and keep our hearts pure before the Lord, yes we have had some ups and downs, but we had the Lord to help us stay on track I couldn't ask for a better man, Gerald to me is the most caring and loving person who gives his all for God, and does his all to provide for me and Hannah.

We have had some great examples in our marriage who we both look up to and admire, who we have known for awhile and witnessed their love for Lord and for eachother and their children I am not trying to put them on a petalstoole but I have been in their home how they love and treat people, their hospitality I know she will be reading this post I just want to say thank you both for letting the Lord use you even though yhou didn't realize it you both mean the world to us and we pray everyday for you both... Love you guys so much....God Bless

Camp & Convention

WOW! What an awesome convention we have had the power of the Holy Ghost came down and flooded the convention mighty things happened wish everyone could of been there, It reminded me of a time when I was a V.L.B. when we had great services, the windows of Heaven came down for sure. Bro. Daryl Clark received the Holy Ghost everyone should of been there to see that It was great never in all my days have I seen someone do a back flip in the spirit Wow! Bro. Dustin has a video of that. What a great time we had..

Family Camp was just as great wonderful services little Sam Thompson, our evangelists two kids received the Holy Ghost, some received sanctifacation, great classes, great everything the camp ground was great, God is good all the time is all I can say...

WOW!

I can't believe it's been since may since I last blogged I know what a looser, don't answer that.

Does anybody know how old I am gonna be in a few days, the only person that will be right is Sister Smith and a couple other people I will let you know when somebody get's it right.

On to other things have I told you all about our garden we planted? well let me tell you all about it, It's going great I can't believe it I will post them here shortly I am so proud let me tell you, we have already eaten fresh spinach I put that in my fruit smoothies I make for me and Gerald it is so good. It is so great to eat out of a garden of fresh fruit and vegetables God has truly blessed it.

We started planting a garden last year just to see if it does good and it did, so we decided to do it again this year, but we did the whole back yard, It's amazing how when you plant something and then you wait expectantly for things to sprout up, we share with our neighbors, we want to be a witness for Christ and this is one way that we can do it, God Blesses our garden so we can Bless other people with His fruits.

Hannah is going to be 14 on Monday, Wow! time does sure fly, she sure is a wonderful daughter I coudn't ask for a better girl, God has sure blessed us I could go on and on I know, I just am so thankful to God for all He has done for us, times sure gets tough sometimes, but nothing compares to what God has done for us on The Cross to Save our Souls..

Random Thoughts

First off I would like to take this moment and thank Sis. Horne for fixing my blog, She is awesome thank you thank you ok that said.

Well where to start, you know how it is when you know what you want to say, but when it is time to yype it out you're brain gets all confusied and then yhou don't know what to say, or maybe that' when age creeps upon you, I am sticking with that thought anyway..

Nothing much has happened lately, just still taking care of the little girl we have been for 4 yrs. now since she was 3month's old, she has finally come to terms that I am ok she used to scream when she saw me I know what you all are thinking so be nice to me..

We have planted another garden this year, and it is so much bigger then last year I will put up a picture sometime so you all can see it, last year it did good so this year we are hoping it does good our neighbors are hoping anyway..

Hannah and I are still riding bikes it feels so good when we are done I have so much energy afterwards.

Hannah'sschool is going so much better I think she understands math now I have been racking my brain and got her different stuff to help her cuz I am not smart when it comes to math, she is going into 9th grade and that's when math starts getting a little complicated, but I have confidence in her letting her take it slow and easy..

God has been so good to us I have no words to say how good He has been to us sometimes I get discouraged, and want to just give up,but then that's what the devil would want me to do, and then I just read the Bible and I get up lifted, truly Love Him so much, a song comes to mind To much to thank Him For something like that..

Well something Happened to my blog

Well what has happened thus far in my life, I have been doing a lot of walking and riding my bike amazing huh? I am eating alot more heather then before also, I truly thank God for my health He has touched my body in ways I can't explain, been doing lot more stuff then before I have been making rugs out of the plastic bags you get at walmart and city market amazing what u can do out of those plastic bags, me and Hannah has been taking a crocheting class so fun.

Hannah what can I say, she will be a 9th grader this year, doing great in school, God has truly blessed us with a great daughter who wants nothing else but to please the Lord, isn't that what we as parents pray for in our children that they have a heart after God I truly thank Him for her she isuch a blessing I don't deserve her u know what I mean, I pray that she will always stay as close to God as she is I pray that is her desire also, she doesn't like boys yet I am not ready for that, but I told her when the time is right to pray what God wants and nothing else will matter.....
